To be a human is to hold certain feelings about everything in his or her life. It is possible that other life forms, too, can hold such feelings, but the complexity of the human feeling is special. The human feeling is not simply a passive perceptive phenomenon but a complex body of active judgments and experiences; it is a response that is subjective, a unifying body of knowledge, and human consciousness in its totality. In this regard, the human feeling is the symbol of its uniqueness in the universe. All human thoughts and ideas start from here. It is the most human and unique operation of consciousness.
